My name is Teresa Queen-Curtis. I'm just a girl, armed with a needle and thread, setting out to conquer the world one stitch at a time.
I'm from the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina where handcrafts are a tradition. The men and women of my family are makers of things. Sewing, carving, quilting, crocheting, broom makers, tillers of the soil, leather crafts, weaving, music, you name it and I could probably find someone in my family that does it. They did all this not as hobbies but as a way of survival and to be independent. The drive to create comes from these people and the generations behind them. I'm very proud to have that in my blood.
