Every year since the beginning of our relationship my husband, Mark, and I make each other an Easter basket. Mark is fun, romantic and a big kid at heart. When I purchased his favorite Butterfinger eggs, I thought I had a small basket and some green Easter grass at home. Well, when the time came to put his basket together, neither one of these items were to be found. So I improvised with a small vintage bowl and the selvage edges of fabric that I've been saving for a future project. Actually I can't bear to throw out those little strips because I think they're so pretty. This is what I ended up with.
Mark thought it was very cute and showed creativity. Smart man!
